Today I went to a cupping of some new Nicaraguan coffees being imported by D.R. Wakefield, the importers. I was lucky to be invited on the coat-tails of my good friend Steve Leighton of Hasbean. A fascinating experience and some nice coffees. One or two were *really* nice. Oh and I met mattmills, our erstwhile member from Peterborough. Good to meet you Matt!
We were shown a very interesting movie about artisanal coffee production in Nicaragua. Really interesting - worth a look. With Cafenica's permission I have put it into our Downloads section. You can freely download it, take clips from it, take stills from it and redistribute any of these. No restrictions - you have the clearly stated permission of Cafenica to do that if you wish.
Now the bad news.
It's a mpeg file of about 137MB. Even for us lucky people with wide broadband pipes, downloading that off *this* server takes a *while*. You are very strongly recommended to copy it to your local hard drive before playing it (by default, your browser will simply try to play the file immediately - not a good idea in this case I'm afraid).
We normally have bandwidth to burn every month, so offering this should not be a problem. I always keep an eye on our bandwidth utilisation anyway. We have a 10GB per month quota (30GB on the new box) so it's no big deal.
Cheers
Phil
