Well, actually it was too nice a weather to sit inside watching tele. I was sleeping in my hammock in the garden when I was rudely awakened by horns and cheering people ... :(

Nevertheless... nice they've won :D

Don't snigger too loud Baz, if the global warming doom mongers are to be belived I will be hosting the East coast TMC get together next year in Sunny Halifax by the Sea! Meanwhile you will have had to change the coffee shop name to "Atlantis very wet cappuccino". But London village will be towing chunks of Ice berg down the Thames so the villagers can wander down to lick them because all the taps have run dry.
Long forgotton Tech and Coffee Equipment guru.

No...not at all. This is a time-honoured practice in my part of the world as a protection against the atrocious weather we have here.

Ah, I've heard of this bizarre ritual... at the beginning of the cold season they put lard all over their bodies and then sew themselves into their underwear... Supposed to keep you warm during the cold nights.... ;)

I wonder what it smells like when they removed their underwear after the winter.....
