PMs

Postby scook94 » Mon Mar 06, 2006 4:31 pm

I just (well 4 hours ago) received an email from TMC advising me I had received a PM, however my inbox is empty. Is it possible that the PM has been retrieved or deleted by the sender, or can it take a while to show up?

Strange. Maybe you had already looked at the PM and the mail notification was late?
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

Raf,
No, I'd never been in my inbox til I got the notification. I've only been a member a short while and it was the first PM notification I'd received!!!! Oh well....

This could be down to various reasons. I just had a quick chat with Phil and we would put it down to two possible causes, an MTA delay (in which case you may have already read the message) and a likely deletion by the original sender. To our knowledge there haven't been any other problems with the DB, but Phil will check the logs tonight, just in case. If anybody else has had any probs, send me a PM or an email.
