Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above, [...]
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, [...]
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze, [...]
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees, [...]
Send me off forever but I ask you please....?

And just to end this thread on a good note:

STEVE's got two more decaf green beans in stock, Ethiopian Sidamo MC Decaffeinated & Bolivian Organic - CO2 Process.

How I do like that man...(in a manly non-decaf type of way...) :D :D :D

Yes indeed - I like the look of those two beans (the coffee ones, that is). Nice to have some variety on the decaf front - I wish some more Laguna would come in though ;)

I still have approx 1Kg of Laguna left. I try to buy 4Kg of each decaf at a time and keep the cupboard full. I think my favourite at the moment is the Fazenda Jacaranda Organic Brazil. Looking forward to trying the Ethopian and Bolivian.

The Sumtra & Brazil blend together quite nicely. I'm thinking Ethopian and Sumatra may also provide a good mix - will have to wait and see.

I've been playing with a decaf espresso blend. I must admit I'm starting to like it  but only a little :) A little Colombian, Bolivian and sidamo, its very interesting indeed. Just playing with the quantities now, I'll keep you posted.

Heresy! I'd boycott you... if I thought I could get my beans elsewhere
I know what it's missing though.... put some dark roasted decaf Kenyan in there to "spice" things up   Not that the decaf drinkers are likely to notice the difference :P

Bresh,

If you have Laguna left, and also like the Jaceranda, can I recommend an espresso blend?

Try this: 50% Jaceranda, 25% Laguna, 25% Mandheling, just into second crack (or darker if you must!!)

For me the laguna has just the right amount of brightness to lift the chocolate in the brazil; the mand then gives a lovely peppery aftertaste.

Then again, Steve has more choice of decaf greens than I do, so his blend has options mind doesn't, when it's ready!

Steve, you do refer to the decaf mandheling as your bedtime espresso on the HB site! Is that every night then? (Run faster Dom, he's getting away)
