Not sure if this is the right forum or not but thought people might be interested in this little project for the PC modders amongst you.

Finally someone found a good way of using a PC. But then again, knowing it's a PC it'll probably crash or the espresso will get some nasty virus in it.

(Now I'll just have to lean back and watch the hate-mail flowing in from all the PC-users... )
La Marzocco GS3, Compak K10, Dualit grinder, Turkish coffee maker (Ibrik) and grinder, Eva Solo coffee maker, French press, Aeropress.

This from a Mac user I presume? I gather that you've read the news over at http://apple.slashdot.org/ that Apple are moving to an Intel *86 base, so that the next mac's will to all intents and purposes be pc's? :P :P :P
Furthermore, not all pc's run windows, and linux based machines have been making coffee for years!
(Steve, duvet and pillow time)
The resource for all true coffeegeeks is of course the Coffee Making HOWTO (obviously written by more of a computer geek than a coffee geek) which has been around for as long as I remember (along with stuff such as the trojan room machine). For those of you into pids and all that mularky, there is of course stuff such as the WebNet Coffee machine or I suppose the Jura F9.
How long before someone uses a peletier for making frappucinos!?! Though I'd rather have an espresso granita myself
(Steve, you can wake up now.... STEVE! wakey wakey!)
