Glad to hear you've hooked up with Rast. They're good roasters and very nice people.

Good luck with shop and your special event for Swiss coffee day. Looks like fun. I hope I can manage a visit to your shop on the 25th.

Wish we had a café like yours here in Berne!

There is at least one excelent coffee roaster in Switzerland.

Hi Fabien

Believe me there are more excellent roasters than just Rast in Switzerland. I know some nice roasters doing a very good job.

But no doubt, Rast does a good job too. For me personally they are roasting not bean specific enough and mostly a little bit too dark. I made a roasting course there and have some friends who worked there for a short while. Compared with other swiss roasters Rast is for sure in the top ten.

Yup but my purpleness is looking great. I had noticed that your beard (fur?) had developed a slight green tinge in your absence. Let that be a warning to all, prolonged abstinence from TMC and too much brain work turns you green! :P

Btw, Very cool monobrow though :D

Nahhh.. I'm green and my brain doesn't work. It seems that, around here, green is becoming the new ginger. Discrimination against, or ridicule of, greens will not be tolerated.

Around these parts we roast 'em.
Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters.
I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!

As my favourite philosopher, singer/song writer and international superstar once said "it's not easy being green". :?
