Is it actually possible to find a good shot?

I'm off to Liverpool next Saturday. Does anyone have any tips for a decent brew?
I've heard of Coffee Union (a small chain I believe), Espress Plus and Rocco, but have no idea what they're like.
Thanks,
Tom

Mocha Lounge?

Liverpudlians amongst TMC might have other suggestions though - aside from trying to win the Premiership, that is
Au réveil, il était midi.

I've been to Mocha Lounge three times. The quality of the espresso changes quite a lot depending on who's working on the day. I must say I had one really good double espresso but sadly the other two I've had weren't nice.

Coffee Union did decent enough brewed coffee, IIRC, and pleasant enough cafe. I wouldn't make a special trip - but if you're answer a decent brew when you're out and about in Liverpool...
