Anyone else see that Program on sleep last night ..... I only started watching it becuase Kate Silverton was wandering around in a dressing gown taking a bath.

Then I almost spat my Fany La Finca out when James Hoffman turned up, Got hammered on wine and fell asleap.

Mr Hoffman was on it? Damn, I missed that - watched the beginning of it, but 't was having the intended effect on me I suppose, I had to change channels or I would have started snoring right there and then :P

Actually it was about 5 at that point, though the reason I look so wasted is that by that point in filming it was 1am, we'd been filming stuff since 5 and I was really, really tired.

What they didn't tell you was that the wine lady took a massive 1 minute longer to get to sleep than me. The caffeine barely had any effect - mostly because we were tired from filming - and also because the Muchoki ("high roasted?! wtf?") doesn't have that much caffeine in it anyway.

There was lots of other silly stuff - all the footage was filmed out of order, I was filmed arriving the morning after the experiment, most of the footage of me asleep was faked the next day. The sleep lab was as creepy as it looked though.

And while there was nothing wrong with the wine lady she doesn't even come anywhere close to the loveliness, awesomeness and beauty of Anette. So there.

My wife used to work very closely with the twins on that program - good friends of hers. Talk about three degrees of seperation.

I was really interested in the jet-lag bit, think I will try it next time I go long-haul although I'm not entirely sure it would be possible to go 16 hours without eating!

I think the best part of the program was the fact that I didn't know about it but my wife recorded it after realising that I might like it, to quote her on telling me about the program..

"They had some guy making those pretty milk shapes that you do, they were nearly as good as yours." ;)

Ahhh, I love here - mind you, she has had her eye on a new laptop recently.. Hmmm.

I was really interested in that as well ... I never (repeat NEVER) get jet lag ... every one else I travel with does though.

The interesting thing is though, I always turn down the food on flights, because its sh1te and I would rather be hungry for a few hours than eat Aneamic chicken rubber egg and fake sausage.

I wonder now if its this 12ish hours of fasting I do that stops me gfrom getting jet lag ???

The next time I fly, I am eating, to see if suddenly get jet lag !
