For that price it looks great. I want a drip cold brewer!

I'm as much into picking up unnecessary coffee gadgets as the next guy, but this holds no allure for me - a combination of it looks tacky, and general ambivalence towards cold-brewing.

I'd buy one just because of the victoriana presentation on the site, but it looks like it might be made of plastic. I'd also have to keep it in the shed, I could turn my shed into a coffee emporium, people would flock from yards around if not furlongs or leagues. I'd be the talk of Leith.

Same here. Most importantly, it looks tacky. If something is 'wood' ,with no further details, i'd generally give it a miss.

I agree but I'm always open to have my mind changed. I think I don't like cold brewing as I've never found the right method, but I'm an optimistic sort.

Jason was brewing some really nice cold brewed stuff with our toddy just before he left London, surprisingly enjoyable!

Never got on with the toddy so much, although I know Cakey had some great results. I think ti requires patience, not my greatest attribute.

I think the best cheat is a TDS meter - you can really dial in your brew live using a brewing control chart and a little basic maths.
