Four politicians in a bar

Four politicians enter a bar at the end of a day in the commons, but strangely, despite having the means and the will, none of them buys a drink.
The first politician refuses to accept that the bar exists. The second, accepts the bar is there but refuses to believe it is open. The third accepts the bar both exists and is open, but is unsure how it all works and is therefore unprepared to commit at this time. The fourth politician, absolutely certain he knows where he is and what is going on, is at the bar demanding to be sold a pound of potatoes and some oranges no matter what and is prepared to bring a motion in the house to facilitate his wishes.
