You are probably familiar with the old style degassing valve, a plastic button type valve that is sealed into the bag. But that creates a big bump in the bag. This new "freshness strip" is just flat, integrated into the foil coffee pouch.
Any ideas where I can buy this bag?
Certainly a new one on me, question has to be what benefit does this new "bag" have over the tried and tested valve? It's less bulky, but who will care? Will it keep coffee fresher for longer, if it uses less raw materials will it be cheaper per bag then current bulky valve offerings?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for new and exciting ideas, but unless it can provide independant usage data showing it either does the job better then current valve bags or is cheaper to produce, print and pack then them I fail to see why this new untested option would be better then it's long time tried and tested valve bag alternative.
