Oh my, we need a Holy Hand Granade, they didn't expect some kind of Spanish Inquisition.

Swapping extreme insults with Australians is an accepted friendy social passtime. Why can't we insult those frog chewing, unwashed continentals, without unfair retaliation about our almost non existant pecadilloes?

I hope we can all take this thread in the lighthearted spirit that is intended. I must say that I do not find this Monty Python report on the situation to be very realistic.

I have had the pleasure of living and working in France for two years and I have the greatest respect for the people and their way of life. In my experience, however, I think that suggesting the French would throw good food at their enemies, even in a last ditch attempt to survive, without fully digesting it first, is ridiculous. It is about as convincing as suggesting the Scottish, in similar circumstances, would throw money at their enemies.
