Wonderful! I love it.
In our old house we had door handles that had push levers on top. You took the handle in your hand and pressed down on the top lever with your thumb to open the door.
I noticed one day that our big male cat, Socky, was intently watching my hand when I opened the door. An hour later I saw him jump up, hang on the handle with one paw and use the other paw to press down on the lever. He pressed against the door frame with his right leg and opened the door without any problem. After that the only way to keep a door shut was to lock it with a key.
When we moved into our "new" house the doors had normal handles that you just press down on to open. It took Socky 5 minutes to figure those out.
It's interesting, too, that when he finds a door locked with a key he doesn't try to open it again until he sees someone unlock and go through it. Then he will try it again.
