Ah yes Ian, how are they coming on? I'd really like to get that article up on the site.

I can shoot some pictures of the Gaggia Syncrony if they would help. Also pictures of a Hottop, coffee beans, basically anything I've got kicking around I can take pictures of if they would help.

Are you only looking for pictures of specific equipment, or would a few "arty" pictures be wanted for jazzing up web pages? If you let me know what kind of size file (both in terms of resolution and file size) works best for you I'll see to it when I process my camera RAW files.

Any kind of (coffee related) pictures would be fine to use as stock for later articles.

Hottop pictures are not a problem thanks. I did a load of those for my article, and now they appear on 3 different sites that I know of.

At the moment I'm only looking for the specific sorts of picture I mentioned in my original posting, but as I said anything coffee-related would be useful for stock. I'd rather pictures weren't pre-processed before being sent to me as that reduces the options I have to mess with them myself. Straight out of the camera is fine.

Cheers for anything you can send.

I can send a few latte art ones if you like - possibly a bit branded and not gobsmacking or anything.

What sort of file size is good?

Anything you can send please Jim. I could in principle give you an ftp account if necessary - but let's try and avoid that. I can't offhand remember how I've set up attachment size filtering, but anything under 2MB (for the whole email) should be fine.

What sort of processing are you wanting to do with them? The reason I ask is that the best results from my camera come from using its own RAW files which take several megs each. Not only that but you need the right software to read them.

If you're talking about cropping and resizing I can send you some large-ish JPEGs taken from my raw files - say about 1500x1000 resolution for starters?

As per my original posting, jpegs are what I'd like please. I can then do loads of stuff with them.

At the end of the day these pictures are going to appear on a web page, and I can't afford to use anything too big as it'll make my pages unusable to those with slower connections,

Your suggestion is absolutely fine John . Thanks very much indeed.
