Possible to visit a coffee plantation? (Peru or Bolivia?)

Postby Thiskey » Fri Jan 08, 2010 2:35 pm

I'm delighted to say that my girlfriend and I are travelling the world for 8 months, starting in March. Around July - September we will be in or near Peru and Bolivia. I'd love to visit a coffee plantation but I have no idea if this is possible and/or practical.

Do any TMC members know how I might go about arranging something, if it's possible?

I'm also going to Bali (the only other coffee-growing country on our itinerary) for around 10 days in mid-April.

Cheers,
Tom

You might contact Steve and see what he thinks.
Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters.
I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!
