Back on topic.

seeing that spros isnt actually a word, it doesnt have to comply to any standard of English language

so you are quite within your rights to spell it like this

sP'r0,S

and it still means the same !

I don't know Gwilym. I can't decide whether I should be ashamed or proud of the fact that I have honestly not understood one post except Cakeboy's. Now that is really weird!

Bruce ... I am hurt ... I thought my contribution was concise, informative, germane and in impeccable English (sniff)

Oddest thread ever on TMC? I think it should be locked but then stickied as a warming to all new comers as to where they might end up.

for aesthetic reasons (which clearly trump all grammatical considerations), I put forth (in order of preference)

SPROS BEFO HO'S
SPROES BEFO HOES
SPROES BEFOE HOES

why would you not abbreviate "before"
it seems odd, as if you were content to merely use a word instead of maiming it

WHEN! WHERE! WE NOT!

meaning, when were we friends? where were we friends? we are not.
i was just to wrapped up in hate to structure it properly
