Or paypal? The ebay/paypal dispute system is actually very good - i've had to claim a refund via it, and it all went very smoothly...

Hi guys,

nah it was a wire transfer. People in Germany almost never take PP.

Ace news Tom!
Gotta wonder why it took so long in the first place though, and whether opening a dispute was the only way it was going to ever arrive safely!
Looking forwarded to whatever mods you decide to submit this grinder to!

Hi Dom,

yes finally some good news:)

I'm planning to make the grinder a bit shorter so that it fits under the cabinets. Other than that I want to repaint it black and clean it of course.

Regards,
dsc.

EDIT: judging by Bruce's laugh I might not be getting the grinder at all;)

Bruce, those grinders are supposed to be pretty versatile. Could you check how good they are for a) grinding spices and b) grinding wheat for bread?

No no no. Traditionally, we like to use only the finest arborio around here.

Good news indeed Tom. Dom's theory that the dispute may have been the catalyst to it's eventual arrival is probably spot on. Shame you went through all that only to find Bruce has shown a clean pair of heels as he 'offs' your shiny new toy into the sunset :P

Hi guys,

yes I was relieved when I heard that the grinder finally arrived, but now I guess I have nothing to be happy about seeing how things are going. I knew that I shouldn't trust Bruce, that grinder-napper!!;)

I guess now it's obvious where he gets all of his equipment from;)

Seriously though Bruce, a huge thanks for everything!

Regards,
dsc.
