Just wondering why all the posts I see about roasting coffee here talk about going to the 1th crack...into the 2th. I'm from the other side of the pond so maybe that is why. Don't recall what they use on US coffee forum sites when referring to roasting and when the bean cracks.
I usually refer to the first of anything as 1st, second as 2nd third as 3rd. From there most are Nth except 21st, etc.
I noted the thread in this forum about DEXTER RULES referred to the 3th season so thought I would ask.
