Tobogganing in T.O.

Postby Beanie » Mon Jan 19, 2009 4:37 am

Yep... we got really nice silky powdery snow... perfect for toboganning and... a bunch of crazies went out and did THIS. If I'm not mistaken, one of our regulars built the things... and yes, Mom & Pop and some other regulars had a go on it tonight too!

Here's another vid showing the thing but I'm not sure if it's the same people... maybe even different night... got the links of one of the regulars' FB page ;) Photos were clearer of the "mayhem and madness"

Not that it was needed, but the hospital was very VERY close by ;)
This week, I'm mainly recovering :DAll I've got is my Aerobie AeroPress | 70's Aurora/Brugnetti HX Spring Lever | Mazzer Mini E & SJ (on loan) | Hottop | Nestor Martin (Toto) Gas Roaster | Eva Solo | Moka Pots

Ah, a word I've not heard in a long time. And an activity I've not done in an even longer time.

Really? It's a Canuckian thingy?!! Now that I never knew ;)

BTW Lukas, usually we toboggan down the hills on super huge inner tubes (tires) not couches/chesterfields/sofas with sleds as feet! Thankfully today, I saw all the folks who were on it last night, all still in one piece ;) I guess with that fab hill within minutes walk from home/work, it's kinda irresistable :D
