Does this count as a rosetta

Postby simonp » Mon Aug 16, 2004 9:06 am

OK, not really, I know, but I was so chuffed to pour a pattern yesterday morning in my cappuccino, and I happened to have works digital camera with me, I took a picture. It tasted good too, even had the 1/3 milk 1/3 foam 8) .

Nice one!. How long have you been practicing....?
I am just getting into the Latte art now...
I can do the heart most times, but I've not yet produced a decent rosetta.

I don't practice as such, but very now and then I try to pour somehing, I'm hampered by the fact I like to get a good head of foam on the cappa (double espresso in a 6oz cup), so the milk is not really "latte art" style.
I've had my machine about 3 months, and this is the first shape I've managed other than the usual apple shape in a cappuccino. I've never tried a big latte cup.

The big bubbles are actually the espresso crema rather than from the milk.
