Chocolate Abyss - do you want a bottle?

Postby phil » Mon Jul 19, 2004 4:56 pm

In the spirit of being helpful and proactive:

How many folks want a bottle of this stuff?

Of those people, how many will be going to you-know-where on the 8th August?

Let's see if we can do a group buy shall we?

I voted No - although I do like chocolate, I'd rather eat it than drink it. Also, I don't eat chocolate often and I still have four bars of very nice Valrhona chocolate sitting next to my laser printer (the obvious storage place...).

Cheers,

Hugh

Fair enough Hugh - I just thought that if enough people wanted this stuff I could buy the minimum quantity and share it around. I'm not greatly bothered about it myself either - but I think there are enough other people out there who might be.

Or not. Hence the poll.

Phil, I wasn't hassling you about the poll, just explaining that my No didn't really mean that I dislike chocolate!

Cheers,

Hugh

Hugh - I know you weren't mate! No worries.

Maurice - yup, I expected that. Good. Now how many more bottles do I need to sell?

I don't particularly care about this stuff, but I think my wife and daughter will kill me if I don't get some for them! So that's three.

Cheers

Phil

See the post on obtaining chocolate sauce (for mochas I think). It's a supposedly extremely good chocolate sauce, sold by a wholesale coffee biz place in the UK. Joey says it rocks! The idea is for me to organise a group buy and then hand them out you-know-when

I forgot about this on Sunday, did we not get enough people for a group buy in the end? I'd still like to try some (or rather Jess would, I don't like hot chocolate), but it would take a while to drink 8Kg!
