What's a Florenzato?

Postby ianboughton » Wed Jun 30, 2004 11:06 am

A friend who works in a church office tells me they have been given a donation of a coffee-machine they can't identify or work out - it's called a Florenzato ducole T80/A.

Has anyone ever heard of these, and any idea where I can get information on them?
Thanks

I think they mean: Fiorenzato... :D
A kitchen without espresso-gear is like a body without a soul.

I asked a friend who knows ANYTHING about old machines about it, he mailed me the following (unfortunately he is not European, he would be a great member with his knowledge):

...There is a marque called Fiorenzato. Is this what you meant? I have not run across the name ducole. One espresso machine model the firm manufactures is called the Ducale. The T80 is Fiorenzato's standard grinder-doser. The /A would refer to the automatic version. They have long manufactured several models of grinders and are a well-known name within the trade. Begining about 1997 they started making espresso machines as well. Some are of staggering ugliness.
The web site for the espresso machines is at: http://www.fiorenzatocs.com/
They also have a pageholder website at: http://www.fiorenzato.it/

Thanks Roger!
