I recall having seen this guy before, but I have no information about whether he's reputable.

He says it's refurbished. Dunno if so or how well. Anyone looking for a machine like that should
  1. Ask about warranty
  2. As for reference customers, or maybe better still do an alt.coffee post asking for people with experience of him

Interesting though isn't it? It's not that old. If I didn't have the Gaggia and was looking for a machine I would seriously think about it.

Anyone who does buy something like this, I know a good and reasonably reliable espresso engineer operating out of the Bristol area.

I've just remembered where I've seen this guy, and how I found his website before.

I've got a stored search on eBay UK for commercial coffee grinders. This guy always has one or two Gaggia grinders for sale, new and boxed. The eBay feedback on him is good, not that that means anything for after sales service however.

It seems like a pretty good deal. I dont have the space or the money at the moment. I hope someone else is interested. Hmmm I know a LM fan here in Amsterdam, wonder if she would be interested.

Is the LM fan interested in TMC, by any chance?

And if not why not???

BTW I've heard some dodgy things today about the guy you mentioned. Can't / won't quote in public.

I know I'm a bit dense, but this post is quite obscure to me.

I plan to ask her. I've just not seen her of late and I know she has a just had a baby so has other things on her mind right now.

However, I think she'd be a great addition to the site, since she's in the business. I am not sure how much time she would have to spend round here tho.
