I wonder if some of those laws are fictional.

Strangest point that is not law: Serving poor espresso is punishable by being forced to consume the evidence :shock: . Some baristi in large chains would end up drinking lethal doses of the stuff :wink: :lol:

Think the Chester one is probably correct (it's permissible to shoot a scotsman on Sunday morning in St George's field in York with a bow and arrow).

In the UK these tend to be byelaws which have not been repealed because they haven't been tested in the last x centuries. That's what happens when no one gets around to having a proper revolution...
