Fatality at Volvo ocean Race

Hans Horrevoets, the oldest (32) crew member onboard ABN-AMRO two and a very experienced sailor who competed in many races and regattas was swept overboard and could not be recussitated.

Hans was a much respected Dutch sailor and a fine human being who is survived by his partner and a small daughter.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and crew members.
