Thanks guys  now I've just HAD to make calculations... so let's see the math
$1.26 + $1.06 (50% robusta blend) = $2.32/2 = $1.16/lb x 2.2 = $2.552/kg greens
Assuming *20% weight loss = $2.552 x 1.25 = $3.19 greens needed per 1kg roasted
@ 1GBP = $0.55, $3.19 = GBP 1.76
GBP 3.15 - GBP 1.76 = GBP 1.39 left before costs

* does not include losses incurred when the roastery phone rings and the roaster get distracted on the phone while a batch is in the roaster subsequently making it fit for wholesale customers like UpChucks. For an example of such travesties, see here
This week, I'm mainly recovering :DAll I've got is my Aerobie AeroPress | 70's Aurora/Brugnetti HX Spring Lever | Mazzer Mini E & SJ (on loan) | Hottop | Nestor Martin (Toto) Gas Roaster | Eva Solo | Moka Pots

Ah, San Stevo patron saint of the Dark Roast and Dodgy Football Shirts. Anybody else think we should go on a raiding party to rescue/save any other poor beans facing the same terrible fate of negligence? Anybody contacted tisri to tell him Hasbean has got some new stock?
This week I are feeling sleepy!

Thats correct. The quality of the coffee was not that great. All our shots, regardless if it was on the automatic or super-autos always tasted horrible and bitter.

The place I worked was John Lewis.

I'm now going to move back home, work, save, work a bit more. I'd really like to open my own coffee house.

Well, at this rate it will never be open!

I'm fine for the ideas, what I want to serve/bake/roast/make/etc. I'm fine with the coffee and stuff. But business plans? Predicted financial charts? Asking a bank for money? HELP!

lol!
