Elektra Espresso Cups

Postby bainesy » Thu Mar 16, 2006 3:56 pm

I think these cups are the bees knees http://www.1st-line.com/machines/home_mod/elektra/elektra_cups.htm, and was wondering if the TE "Espresso Cups 1/2doz + saucer (ivory Elektra)" from lamacchinetta were the same.

I didn't get a response from lamacchinetta, so wouldn't necessarily be keen to order from them in any case - so if anyone knows of alternate sources in the UK I'd be grateful.

Cheers

if i am correct in thinking that these are very similar to what matthew algie supply outlets with, except for the difference in logos... (i'm sure the shape keeps changing because we have had 4(god damn pot washers... cack handed!!!) orders of cups and got the 'new' shape each time) i'm sure mr KingSeven will be able to tell us as he is omniscient after all!!! :P

we are getting a delivery in the next week, so if they are the same i will let you know?

also i find the handles a little to small, especially with the bigger size cups...???
when in doubt blame me....

I think omniscient is a little much.

I'd try the people with the Electra agencies - Fairfax Engineering in London have the domestic agency (I think) and Matthew Algie have the commercial one. A quick e-mail to both should clarify the situation. However, if they don't carry them as stock items the cost of getting a small amount sent could be very high.

I'll never own too many items with which to enjoy coffee.

Thanks RedRum, but it's especially the Elektra branding that I like, and thanks Jim, I'll try those two to see if they've got them as stock (or any hanging around they don't need...).
