Coffee with caraway seeds

Postby Terje » Thu Mar 02, 2006 8:25 am

Got these beans from a co-worker who originally comes from Peru. He got them from his mom and they are probably home roasted. Among the beans, in two little plastic bags, where caraway seeds and they did really add to the taste of the coffee.
Different beans and a frying pan, Zassenhaus grinder and a couple of moka pots...

Trish
Silly question maybe, but are they ground with the coffee or added afterwards?

Initially the seeds are just lying in the little plastic bags among the roasted beans. Then you can also grind them while grinding the beans, which I did today and that tasted great, although a lot of caraway so either you like the taste of caraway or this is not for you.
