Got some of the Sri Lanka coffee for free

Turns out that the robusta beans we got from the village were more or less given to us. All in all it was about four kilos and the woman who came with it didn't want any money.

OK, so I know that the local prices are very low so in her opinion maybe it didn't matter much. Four kilos would have been about €2 at the most. I'm not sure I would care either.

But the next time we're there I'm gonna have to sit down with this lady and tell her that I'm willing to pay Swedish prices for that coffee cause those robusta beans are worth it. The arabica beans we bought in the city were pretty decent, bit not very well rinsed. The robustas from the village on the other hand were brilliant.
Different beans and a frying pan, Zassenhaus grinder and a couple of moka pots...
