Swedish meatballs
Green Saab 900 Classic (1987) with a tan leather interior - I can almost smell it
Blue & Yellow Flat Pack Furniture Company
Skiing / Skiers / Cross-Country with rifles
Nature / Pine Trees / Hiking
Clean Water / Mountain Lakes (kinda like the Rockies in late spring)
Swedish Cook from The Muppets
Abba
Stockholm
Malmo

Having never been there, my mind's picture of Swedish "nature" is rather much like in British Columbia/Alberta. And FWIW, I think of Sauna as Finnish as is Nokia. Lego = Danish.

Yep, it's from Finland. Other stuff has also been stolen: sauna and high suicide rates are 100% Finnish. :) Hmm, is there a connection?

lucia
Alfred Nobel
Ace of Base
Midnight Sun
Ingrid Bergman
Greta Garbo

For promotion ideas of the warmer side of Sweden, look at the Molson videos. I posted that link somewhere.... look at the "Canadians are Polite" video. Then again, I like the style of nearly all of them. NO, I'm NOT biased :P

Mainly a local delicacy named Surströmming!!!
Something I wouldn't feed my worst friends...

Julbord, something to look forward to in the dark days before Xmas and of course the Tomte
Lutfisk
Spettekaka, another delicacy I would recommend..
Lussekatter
Messmör, takes a little getting used to
Knäckebröd, known all over the world
Tunnbröd
Hjortron
åkerbär
Isterband
Risgrynsgröt

Washed down with a glass off glögg (except for the Tomte)

Do you notice I was a chef once in a dark past..
Sweden has a great history of preparing good and hearty foods in order to cope with the long and cold winter.
Bezzera B3000A, Giotto Premium, several Cona's, several Balance Brewers, Atomic, Milano etc,
Aristarco, Rancilio MD 40, Ditting and Eureka MCI grinders, several antique roasters, a mini500/800N propane/electric Taiwanese roaster, greens all over the place...and some other unmentionables that have not been mentioned......

Well, the stereotype thing might come in handy for future projects. Especially concerning blonde big-breasted women. But maybe we have ourselves to blame for that since many public persons are female, blonde bimbos. :D

A cool grading system at university (fail, pass, high pass)
Everybody speaks English / no need for swedish if you are a foreigner
Funny "tack" conventions
