My Life is Strange

Postby Steve » Thu Jan 08, 2004 10:31 pm

My life is strange strange strange. I had a call yesterday from a researcher from ITV1 asking about kopi luwak and home roasting. He then phoned me 5 times with more questions through the day. The guy is from for UK people the kids program How 2 (the older ones amounghst us might remeber it as HOW). It a science program about HOW things happen and why for kids (makes it fun and all).

He has now asked if I'll loan them a Imex as they are doing a five min piece on Home Roasting.

I remember "How" but I bet there are precious few others on here that do

(Once more the non-Brits amongst us will be saying "Eh? What are these daft sods on about now?")

The Naked Roaster? I need to get back into hard training, I must have lost 10kg since this time last year

I'd be worried that you'll be loaning a roaster to someone who doesn't know how to roast and it will end up being a "How 2 Burn Coffee" segment. Any way you could demo it to them or go along with it?

Phil, I don't hink there's any chance of that, I've never said "daft sod" in my life! ;)

I remember it for one - Fred Dinenage was in it before he went to regional TV.

Cheers,

I'd be worried about lending a roaster to someone experimenting with...kopi luwak. Are you sure you'd want it back afterwards...?!
