But, what to look for? Does anyone know? My wife's family grows their own robusta beans, so where to get robusta beans will be a simple choice. But Sri Lanka is said to have very good arabica beans too, similar to Old Brown Java. I want to buy them raw of course.

Go to the nearest exporter.... it is the easiest way. Maybe have a chat with the guys that export your family's robusta, if they specialise in robusta then they woudl at least know who you should contact.

The robusta beans grown in the family are only sold locally, if even that. I've found some exproter on the net but they didnb't really want to communicate with me since I'm not a company wanting to buy large quanitties.
