Try this site http://itnarchive.com/britishpathe/

Do a search for 'coffee' and see
'Lloyds coffee house' circa 1688
or 'Coffee House' circa 1955

Enjoy........Alan

From times long past..nicely recreated look in to a long gone era.
That was fun to watch although I would rather drink my own brew as compared to what they where drinking for coffee back in those days.
Bezzera B3000A, Giotto Premium, several Cona's, several Balance Brewers, Atomic, Milano etc,
Aristarco, Rancilio MD 40, Ditting and Eureka MCI grinders, several antique roasters, a mini500/800N propane/electric Taiwanese roaster, greens all over the place...and some other unmentionables that have not been mentioned......

I agree,Zapty, no E61's or Superauto's at Starbucks in 1688 and as for 1955 it seems 'dayglo' shirts and a monkey on your shoulder was the fashion of the day.
