With the last Eurocrats about to leave town for their summer holidays, Brussels is becoming somewhat of a ghost town.
Time for a treat:
Today, I had my little QuickMill pour five very strong doubles of my local shop's 'Vesuvio' espresso blend. Let that cool down, added a shotglass of Marsala wine and then mixed this with around 300grs Mascarpone cheese. Gave it a good whisk in the food processor and put it in the freezer for an hour or so.
Result: Wow.
That made my day.
