Coffee and its adverse effects

I must say we spend a lot of time extolling the virtues of coffee on this site, but don’t talk about the problems anything like as much.

Perhaps somebody can help me with my latest affliction: coffee is ruining my spelling. Today I wrote to someone and addressed her as Silvia instead of Sylvia.

Are there any other problems coming my way that I should be aware of?

Calling her Rocky?
Or, on the subject of spelling, there's also the patented TMC "Stupida" keyboard. (Simon had it last)
Then there's being treated as a coffee snob (I just know PaulT is gonna pounce on that when he reads it) or even just as weird, because you spend all of your time simply trying to explain to people the difference it makes when coffee is fresh (from beans to water to brew) and that "convenience" and "quality" do not sit well.
And of course there are the evil looks when you try to explain about "FairCon" coffee and how it may well make them feel good in their heads, but it makes you feel all sorts of other things when you drink it.
Or there's the psychotic counting under your breath when someone forces you to have coffee in a coffee bar somewhere and the pour is a good 45ml in less than 20 seconds, and more blonde and tasteless than any number of page 3 girls.

Oooh, I could have a field day on this topic... but then I'd have nothing to rant about in my weekly sessions with my therapist ;-)
