I'm getting a new toy (if it will fit, and if my girlfriend doesn't go nuts and make me return it!!).
Can anyone guess what it is?

Oh, yes: it's a Mazzer Mini grinder! ;)
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

It could be a nice 2-seater sports car... No, wait I have one of those already (even if it is only a 9 year old MX-5)

It could be a shiny new tamper....

Nice tampers... pity about the photos... must remember, next time the wife wants me to do the washing up... hide behind a large piece of white card and there's no way she'll be able to see me

Wow, they ARE shiny 8) . Nope, not one of them, in fact it isn't a shiny new tamper at all.

The box with my toy has now arrived, I haven't opened it, but it looks bigger than I expected, I might be in trouble :(

sounds like you'll need to employ diversionary tactics when you get home... send the wife out clothes shopping or something... then when she comes back feeling guilty about having bought something she doesn't need you may be saved!

When I got mine, I couldn't believe how big it was and was very anxious about my wife.... But, she liked it a lot. It's a big beauty.

No wife, it is my girlfriend, although one day I ought to pop the question.
She rarely comes back with loads of clothes, well not expensive ones anyway, mainly as she has little cash having worked part time and been studying part time for 2 years. That's why I feel guilty buying new toys.
Plus I already ran the idea past her, and whilst she didn't say no, she wasn't over keen either.

Apart the studying (mine is nurse), we are in the same case, so just believe in the machine sex appeal. Just put it on the kitchen counter :)
