The "pre-coffee-morning-look" photo contest!!!!

Postby Joey » Thu Apr 21, 2005 9:12 pm

Ok folks!
I already have 2 competitors. :D
Who dares, too??

When you wake up and stumble into the kittchen tomorrow, don't forget your camera and take a good picture of your
"pre-coffee-morning-face". 8)
Place it here in this nice thread, and on Sunday evening we will choose the winner who get's a good bag of my houseblend. :)

I am waiting....

Cheers
Joey

Joey,

Given that I look like something the cat dragged in at the best of times, it wouldn't be fair to add my mug shot to the contest as pre-coffee I must look a right shambles. I have no idea of course because replacing mirrors was getting real expensive!

Jumper, no way you were out last night and look so fresh for twelve the next day. Looking at a late one tonite and early kick off tomorrow so if I can muster enough brain power into working the technology that early I will throw my own lens shattering pick into the foray!

Ok... I'll be a sport and post my early morning face  ... On the left you see my friend Domo who helps me startup in the morning. The little furrball on my lap is Missy who was wondering what her human was doing with a camera in the kitchen... (I'll have that bag of houseblend now  ...)

One question:

Why is everyone being so modest and posting tiny photos? I can't really make out what either Mark or Jo look like from these piccies.

Yeah - I know I haven't sent one in myself yet - but if you want a real laugh at the old slaphead that runs this place you only need to look at the pictures from last year's cupping get-together at Hasbean (see here if you can't be bothered to find this either by scrolling the Recent Articles menu or by looking through the site menus).

OK then, no hiding behind tiny pixels.

Sunday morning has to be the best time for this sort of thing. Real ale drives the need for coffee...

Probably the ugliest pictures of me ever seen. Nothing taken away but the red shift and then some sharpness _added_. Authentic morning pictures. Fasten seat belts.

You are great guys and girl (Jolanda)!!!!
Thanks!
Now I really have a hard time to decide...
Jumper looks REALLY pre-coffee-grumpy....:D
Jolanda looks very relieved with the cup in her hand and the cat on her lap...
Martyn - I don't wanna step on your toes in the morning >lol< (and I really like your bathrobe)
And Zix - wonderful reportage - good job, you really hit the spot with the before-after story, he, he

Should I make a poll and let the TMC members decide?
Nope, you know what, you 4 send me your adresses per PM and I send you all a bag.....you are too good!!!
Congrats!!! Thanks for attending, that courage has to be rewarded ;-D
