What page is this?

One of the discussions on the site has now reached its 5th page, but - unless I've missed it - there's no obvious way of telling which page you're on.

In the listing of page numbers at the top and bottom ("Go to page Previous 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Next") is there a way of underlining the current page number?

I'll have a look Maurice. I don't like to mess too much with packages I'll only have to mess with again when we upgrade, and the style sheet for PNphpBB2 is buried in the works somewhere - but I'll do what I can.

Actually it is possible to see which is the active page - but the font difference is so tiny it's really hard to see. I'll look into it.

Phil - its probably not worth digging too far into the entrails now. Perhaps when the upgrade comes along...

The thing with Open Source stuff is that the upgrades can be fairly frequent, and (parenthetically) I have to make a judgement call about when to take them. We jumped from version 1.2a of the forum to 1.2e when I moved us to the new box for example.

I'll look and see how simple this is and take it from there. In the mean time can I suggest you wave your mouse over the list of page numbers at the top of the page? All of them should turn red as your mouse pointer passes over, except for the one which you're currently on - because you can't link to the current page.

Hope this helps in the short term. I'll get back to you.

F Y I, I had a quick play with the PNphpBB styles to underline the links - but the result looked awful so I rolled the change back PDQ.

Yes, I see, the current page doesn't turn red - subtle!

OK Maurice, but that's a short term work-around. Hopefully I will find a better answer.

Cheers
