selecting quotes

Postby geedee » Mon Apr 23, 2007 10:36 am

Can someone help please :? I can't seem to select a quote from a previous contribution. I have highlighted the quote and then clicked on the quick reply box ... and nothing happens.

Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters.
I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!

Click on "quote" button at the bottom right of the message you want to quote from. You can then manually delete any parts of the quote you don't need. Hope this helps. :D

Bruceb ... yes that does ... thank you!!

However, if I try to use the 'quote selected' button, or the 'smiles' button on the quick reply ... they don't work ...

Yes, that's right Geoff, as the quick reply is designed to just dash off a reply. Go to the "reply" button and that will give you all of the facilities.

Many thanks for making me appear to know something about this lark. 8)
