I dunno about you guys, but I reckon the home page loads a bit slowly now. I fancy this may be down to the external news link.

Do people like the news links? Do you want to keep them? Long term if I get round to hacking MyHeadlines into decent shape I intend to move the news feeds of the home page anyway, but for the moment do you want to:
  • Lose the news feed altogether
  • Lose the news feed until we can knock a decent customised feed into shape, off the home page
  • Keep the feed as is but move it off the home page
  • Keep the feed and keep it where it is

Let me know what you think

Cheers

Phil

I like it, but I don't necessarily need it on the home page.
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

I also like it, especially when we're low on home grown content, but everyone hates a slow home page! Would be nice to keep it as a link if it's not too much work.

Alan, I definitely agree we're low on home-grown content. Care to contribute?

Mmm, yes. I think every member should at least strive to contribute some content. Just a FAQ about "how to pull a decent espresso shot" or somesuch would be fine by me, but we definitely need more reading material.
