Oslo/Tim Wendelboe

Just thought I'd share a few images from my recent trip to Oslo. I was there for a short break with my other half ahead off a return trip in the summer with my nephew who's team are taking part in the Norway Cup ('mon the Colts!)

Anyway, I'm nowhere near the obsessive I used to be about coffe but still like a good cup so I decided to drag Carol for a visit to Tim Wendelboe. Not strictly a coffee shop as such as the place is dominated by the roaster as pictured below, however it does serve coffee and there are a few chairs and tables from where to observe (geek out) as they roasted a few batches. The staff were very pleasant and we both enjoyed our lattes (no latte art, and it was served in a glass which I'm not a fan of).

The coffee overall in Oslo was of a pretty high standard, even from the chain coffee store next to our hotel. Still, when you've a toy like a Synesso to play with then it makes it all the easier!
