Cup North last year coincided with a major reorganisation of the bedrooms of our house (its a 'project' house - well that's what I say. I don't think I could get away with writing what my wife thinks seeing as she is the one managing said project) so I couldn't make it.
So glad its back and we will do our best to be there. If we are really lucky we'll farm out the kids too and come unencumbered....

We spent a lot of time and effort childproofing our house........
Little buggers keep getting back in though!

We just let ours grow up and now we hardly ever have to put up with them anymore.

Sadly that seems to be inevitable

Well, we're pleased they have lives of their own and are satisfied and comfortable. One's a scientist, one's an engineer and one's a ship's captain. They don't have a lot of time and we have our own lives to live. I'm glad we enjoyed them while they were young and at home. I guess there isn't a whole lot more that one can hope for as a parent.

Excellent
My oldest has just become a teenager. What is scary is the rate at which he and his brother are growing up. I sort of feel that I'll blink and he'll be an adult and moving out, although given the current economic climate that might be a few more years than us or he might hope for..

Does anyone have a promo code for Cup North? Not that the ticket price is high but being a Yorkshireman I'm always keen on a bargain.
I'm planning on going on Sunday so if any of you are around let me know!

Not got my tickets or plans sorted yet at all, but hoping to be there both Saturday and Sunday - would be great to meet some people in real life

Great day out at Cup North. Very friendly staff who were very willing to give advice.
Also met this bloke.
Apparently he is something to do with coffee.
(Real pleasure to meet you Steve)
