Brussels! Parlor Coffee

Postby Sammy » Sat Oct 27, 2012 4:14 pm

Finally a real fine espresso bar opened in my area! Parlor Coffee has a brand new La Marzocco dual. Although still a startup with a limited range, they have a fine choice of blends and single origin.

Cakes and cookies are home baked by the Japanese-half of the barista couple - truly delicious!

I have been waiting for a place like this for a long time.

Address: Chaussee de Charleroi 203 (or thereabout) in Brussels.

Thanks for posting. Anywhere else you'd recommend nowadays in Brussels - heading over for a break...

Ended up stumbling by Aksum coffee http://www.aksumcoffeehouse.com Very decent shots (a bit darker-roasted than I'd usually have, but good - if I lived nearby, I'd be very happy to use them!)

They roast their own beans, and sell from the cafe (I didn't take any home). A pleasant shop to sit in, and cakes and breakfast looked decent too. Reasonable prices for that part of the city, too - E1.5/espresso.
