it is worth mentioning a few places in London that make excellent coffee using Italian coffee brands

the grocer on Elgin/the grocer on Kings [6 Elgin Crescent W11; 184a Kings Rd SW3]

Molinari coffee. Flat whites are on the menu £2.20. Elgin Crescent branch makes the best coffee in the immediate area [main competitors Coffee Plant and gail's Bakery on portobello road]. The Kings road branch is at the same level. I don't know anywhere else in the Kings Road/ South Kensington area that is as good. Tom Tom Coffee House in Belgravia is probably the nearest competitor.

l'angolo [120 College Road NW10]

Manuel coffee [picture of cappuccino attached]. Excellent coffee- a serendipitous find. £1.70

Baker and Spice [muzetti coffee] is bubbling under

any others?

also definitely worth a mention

La Fromagerie on Moxon Street in Marylebone. The coffee they serve is Le Pantiagioni [sp.] and they use a Faema machine. Probably better coffee than L'Angolo, but the milk has a better texture at L'Angolo
