Carluccio’s Chiswick

Made the mistake of having a take away cappa at Carluccio's. I had the Napoli blend, described as having a "robust and rich flavour". To me it tasted like milk with a lot of charcoal in it. It felt like it would do me physical damage, I hate to think what an espresso would have been like.

Tried a cappuccino in one of their branches once years ago and had to put a couple of grains of salt into it along with sugar, which I don't enjoy in coffee. I concur over what on earth the espresso would have tasted like.

I do remember a rather amusing moment two weeks ago when Mr Mentness was seen pouring a sugar bowl into a shot glass. I wont say where we were.
