Hi all!
I'm going to be in London for 6 weeks as of September 9th, to hang out with my parents in their new house in London before I fly off home to NZ.
But since they work during the day, I thought I'd try and find something useful to do while I'm there.
Ideally I'd work for a fortnight or two, while you or your poor, overworked staff limp off for a few weeks holiday. Or, if anybody feels like showing me a thing or two in their roastery, I'll happily shine their shoes and fetch the newspaper or something.
I've got a good 5-6 years making coffee behind me now; comfortable on LM, Synesso, Vibiemme or Wega.
I've done similar short-term stints this summer in a couple of other places; Artisan Roast in Edinburgh, and Bonanza Coffee Heroes in Berlin. I've been just travelling about a bit this summer, avoiding the NZ winter.
Plenty of glowing references available upon request.
I'm not married to the idea of actually working, however... Also keen to just hang out and meet folks, do a little cupping, a little cafe hopping, whatever.
Cheers
Kyle
