Manchester?

Anybody know of any good places in Manchester? Going to visit for the weekend. Have become a little spoilt in London so hopefully there's somewhere amazing for me to try up there!
This week I are mainly ready to get back to making muffins!"

Thanks Steve.
Maybe a quick one on Monday afternoon on the way home if you're working. (I suspect I may need one by then!)
Would love to see the roastery anyway- Will call if I get a chance and see if you're around. :D

The best bet I found is Cafe Aromat which is in the design centre in the Northern Quarter.

Manchester is really crying out for some decent coffee. There are some great cafe spaces in the Northern Quarter, but the coffee itself is no good. Anytime a decent place open in mcr it shuts down within a couple of years (Suburb, Love saves the Day - which both opened on Deansgate so I can only assume the rent was astronomic). Saying that I haven't been back so much in the last few years so maybe there are some new decent ones I'm yet to discover.

There are some really really great delis around Burton Road area, and Chorlton but I can't attest to the quality of their coffee!

I would suggest heading to the Northern Quarter and have a wander though, thats pretty much your best chance - Drip, Oklahoma..

Oh & if you fail to find anywhere Mr Scruff has opened up a tea shop!
