maybe drop an email .. obvious suggestion but the food in Fernandez and wells is incredible !

crime if you dont hit flats and ask for a ristretto.
on a recent jaunt around a few of the aforementioned it was mind blowing !! (seriously)
trust me BC it will set a real high bar for you to aspire to thats the double edge sword.

also checkout Monmouths drip station in the market. will certianly give you a few things to think about... BTW leave plenty time as the ques are huge.

Thanks Barry!

I'm going to be taking plenty of notes (and pictures! ha!)

I always see London as a cross between Manchester and New York for some reason, so if it's done well and works there, i'm sure it'd take off in Manchester too :D

Fernandez and wells, doesn't strike me as vegan friendly place, the deli fernandez and wells round the corner from the cafe has massive joints of meat hanging in the window, however there is a decent vegan/vegi restaurant almost next door to it called Mildreds. I'm no vegan or vegetarian but i do like their porcini pie... yum

I can vouch for Mildreds. Great food and great atmosphere. You may find the after dinner espresso to be quite acceptable too.

Signed on Mildreds, great food (though Hugo used to get his coffee from me at Swiss Cottage, and told me not to drink theirs  ) Disclaimer: the friendliness of your waitron may vary (though the food makes up for it).

Two Austrian Coffeegeeks will be haunting London next Saturday... ;)

Any new suggestions or recommendations, or shall we just try to visit the usual suspects?

Hallo Walter!
Nice to see you here, too!

I almost would have been in London, too, for the Brewmaster - but I mixed the dates. I'll be there at the end of April then...
Tell me afterwards how it was!
