Going to London tomorrow

Is it actually possible to find a good shot?

I had such a cracking latte at milk bar today that I had to let the TMC world know. If only I could do with their beans at home what they do in house!
so it goes...

Gaggia. Aristarco. Grindenstien. Has beans. SQM.

I'll be in London at the end of April.
Guess this one of the places I have to visit...
"Latte" is french for "you've paid too much for your coffee"

I'm in London right now - South Kensington station to be precise. Any good espresso here, or will I have to go to Soho?
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

The latte was really well made- perfect milk texture, really sweet natural taste. The coffee was spot on with no bitterness and a very deep flavour.
From a decorative point of view it was topped off with the best rosetta I've seen for a long time.
I bought another bag of their beans from SQM, I'm trying to get a decent Espresso at home but after today don't expect to match the high quality I enjoyed today..!
so it goes...

You'll be lucky Raf! West London is a desert! It'll have to be Soho or east London where they have way too much fantasic coffee.
Why is that?
This week I are mainly ready to get back to making muffins!"

On the Eastside, an appreciative customer base, outlets that value community over competition, and no chains. That's just how we roll :D

Soho it will be then. And Smithfield! And at night: Rasoi! And Sunday lunch: St Johns!

Not just good. "Mind blowing" was more what I was thinking. I immediately pressed upon the wife the need for a shiny black, three group La Marzocco. She even seemed to consider it...

incidentally, looking at your signature, cakeboy: do you have a wife? And is she visually impaired? Or does she not mind the coffee equipment blocking major arteries in your home?
