Where to go in London? June 23 - June 27 2008

Postby sjames » Thu May 01, 2008 1:11 am

My wife and I will be in London June 23 to June 27, and we'd like to know which cafes are on the MUST do list. I've got Flat White as a start, but what else do you all suggest.
We're staying in South Bromley, but we'll be visiting Hampstead, The City, Buddy Guy Concert at Shepherds Bush ;-), etc. etc.

Cheers,
Simon.

Hey Simon,

I'll assume you'll be spending the preceding days in Copenhagen for the Worlds? If so, maybe we can grab a coffee there, and I'll run you through a few places worth looking at back in London?

Yes, we'll be at the WBC :-) I'm not sure how big the Australian contingent will be (it'll depend on who wins, I think).

Great, I'd love to catch up in Copenhagen. Have you been back to Melbourne lately?
It's going to be a great couple of coffee fueled weeks for me (not so much for my lovely wife).

Cheers,
Simon.

Haven't made it back to Melbourne in nearly 2 years. Constraints of finance and work, obviously playing a factor.

I'll see what we can arrange for London.

Try Sacred as well. Monmouth and Vergnano are also places to visit in London

Nice. I'm off to see Buddy Guy on Tuesday too - what a legend! Also hoping to drop into Flat White for a cheeky one.
